What’s On Tap

I brew beer on occasion, so here is what is on tap and what is fermenting:

American Ale.

Past Beers
Some of the below may still be in bottles, but most are long gone.

Brewed a recipe I created based on some recipes I found on American Ambers (Red Ales) and my knowledge of American Pale Ales. I hope it will be a slightly malty red ale with a balance of a medium hop body. Recipe Link

Indian Pale Ale: Recipe was based on a clone recipe of Dog Fish Heads 60 Minute IPA but mine came out less malty with a slight orange and passion fruit ending. Recipe Link

Belgium Witbier: It turned out similar to Hoegarden. Although mine has a slightly heavier orange spice to the end of the sip. Recipe Link

Weizenbock: . This came out close to one of me and my buddy’s favorite Aventinus.

Summer Ale: Turned out to be a great crisp summer beer with a just a slight hint of hops and a sprinkling of lemon. A wheat free recipe so not truly a summer ale but not exactly a American blonde ale either as it was a bit darker in color.

American Pale Ale:. Very similar to the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Simple Porter: Nice and easy starter porter. Looking forward to tweaking this recipe.
